Revival Connections Meeting

Almost upon entering the door, I began to lose my voice and my ability to speak. My voice was because I have been battling a cold. The ability to speak must be God. As we played worship(I often play drums of one sort or another there when I go.) I felt the presence of God.

All the way up(5 of us packed into my car. Need a bus.) I wondered what God was up to.

As it was becoming my time to share, people's testimonies kept coming forth. Wow! Maybe I won't be speaking tonight. That is ok with me by the way. Whatever the Lord is doing I am onto. Finally, after much laughter and awesome testimonies, I was up there.

The interesting thing about RC is that it is family. So what did I share. I shared about the love of God and a dream the Lord had given me about Santa Claus. I shared about our abilities versus His abilities. But mostly I shared about the partnership of God and us, the relationship of love that creates the atmosphere of love where we go. That God can not and will not do it without our participation.

I spoke of the lifted grace for "being" in the box. I spoke of the people of God coming out of ghettos of Christianity and revealing the Risen One through their lives.

We ended with prayer and prophesying over every person there.

What is next for us? We are looking at a late spring trip to Scotland and have some Maine on our plate. So we will have to see.

Matthew's Party

Many of you were instrumental through your prayer and your participation in what happened in Gloucester this weekend.

So, let me share about it.

Tina and I drove down on Saturday and were greeted as we crossed the bridge into Gloucester by a wave of  "the other presence." I have not experienced that in years. It was difficult. We got to the home we stayed at. It was awesome. Our friends treated us like royalty from the get go. Even had barbecued swordfish(Prophetic I would say.) for us. My favorite.  We just love these folks and ask you to keep them in prayer as they walk the path of seeing God show His face in Gloucester. One of the people there was this sweet young lady from the Philippines who we have "adopted." Our Saturday was so awesome. They drove us around the island.

Earlier that day my brother had called to tell me the difference between Gloucester and Salem Massachusetts is that in Gloucester they have signs telling you what they are into! And he was right. As we drove past the "gay" places, viewed the Moonies stockade, looked at the shops of occult and witchcraft, I could only be reminded that the greater the sin the greater the grace.

We woke up yesterday and once again we were greeted with the blessings of these people in the form of a wonderful breakfast and fellowship.

We left to go to the meeting hall and here is where it gets fun! The meeting was in a hall owned by an organization called the Gloucester Fraternity Club(Check out the link below.) In the corner of this space is a crown and the story of a Portugese tradition called crowning in "memory" of the Holy Spirit. They had told me there is a bar downstairs and while they can come up, the people in the meeting can't go down. Well, I prophesied that they would be touched. And the Holy Ghost can go where no man can go.

And so as the worship was going 4 men came up from downstairs. Now here are all these people of the church and there are 4 men from the bar downstairs. One kept coming in and out, but as I was given the microphone they were drawn to join the meeting! Now these guys have been drinking. I am wondering how God wants to play this. I feel a shift in the atmosphere as God begins to change what I say for these souls. Now understand that these guys are drawn. One said he had never been in a meeting like this. He is watching artists paint and sketch. He stand up and apologizes for interrupting but he can not get over the beauty. I can't tell you how many times he interrupted me, but others said I never missed a beat with him. I shared parts of my testimony and he comes up to shake my hand and hug me---with a beer in his hand! What a picture!

And as I come to the place where I explain I am going to pray and prophesy over people two of these guys jump up and get in line! One of them wanted to tell me something before I prayed for him. I asked if I could pray first. As heaven opened up over him and God revealed things that only He would know this man had nothing more to say.

Some said to me it was like the woman at the well. These men had just witnessed Jesus in person. The prophet had spoken and their lives could not be the same. As this man went to get a ride home people felt he would not be able to shut up. One of the artists gave him her drawing. The overwhelming love of God!

I am so glad sent me for these men.Everything else was awesome but this was the cake. Now I do not suggest you have beer in your building, but church they are coming in, God's spirit is so much more powerful than the spirits these people have carried.

We had new agers, former witches and the like yesterday. God I already want to go back!

I will go anywhere to see God do this. Please God bring them in!

Let's have the parties of the tax collectors be attended by the people of God. Hey, Thanksgiving is right around the corner who knows!

In 2006 I have been asked to work with a conference coming up called "God Loves The Witches."

I am telling you, if we do not change the way we "do" church, God will change the church.

Gloucester Meeting

Hi folks:

You will find this letter both practical(Lee, practical? Read a blog
quote by a friend below.), informational and spiritual.). For many
this is a call to prayer.

So, thanks to all of you. Each one integral to the body of Christ.

Spiritual:
I will be blunt.

I keep hearing words like Jesuit, Catholic and the like. Yesterday
one of you reported on the Black Sea. I sensed it might be the black
c. Be ready for spiritual attacks of religions. That was being dealt
with in prayer.

We are going to see deliverance of generational curses this weekend.
I expect we are going deep. We are dealing with spirits that follow
the generations of lost husbands, leaving many wives "widowed" in
this area. We are taking it on in this meeting.

I hear eastern something. I am not researching, but I know there is a
lighthouse here.

On the other side of the coin, we are going to see releasing of the
prophetic and the arts. The Bob Jones words about the arts being
released prior to the revival.

Informational:
I expect this to be a highly prophetic meeting. That means anything
could(And will) happen. My thoughts are we will press in worship and
see what happens. My expectations are simply this. We are here to be
ministers, not be ministered to. That means you can give people
space, but realize they have come with the expectations that God will
show up. Plug in with prayers of healing.. We are all things to all
people. Casual is ok. No out dressing the speaker! Kiddin'.

We will pray together before the meeting.

Practical:
Meeting is at 2-5. It will take both of you about 3 hours. We are not
eating lunch before hand. Please plan accordingly. We will have
sandwiches, or something after meeting. My plan is to fellowship for
a bit after. Rides, you can do what is best for you.

I think I will head over early and help with the setup. They are a
church without walls or their own building, so they must setup each
time. Same on the breakdown.

Then there's the Lee factor... this makes everything even more fun.
The best way to describe him is black and white, either you can take
him or you can't, because he's different in the way he thinks. I can
take him and absolutely love hanging out and being messed with
(although I have no idea why). Other people can't handle that and
find it quite disturbing. This leads to a greatly imbalanced report
card if you will, because you'll have the people who think he's great
and the people who think he's crazy, and no real in between. It
doesn't take a whole lot of imagination to realize what leadership
